  • Open any of available browser-Chrome, Firefox or Opera.
  • Go to Google Play website and head towards WhatsApp beta test page.
  • Now it’ll ask you to login with your gmail account. Now login to your google account that you use on your android device.
  • You’ll see a button that says “Become a tester”, click on it.

 After following these steps now you’ve been enrolled into WhatsApp beta testing programme for Android. But still you need to follow certain steps to download the latest WhatsApp beta for Android:

  1. Go to Play Store on your Android phone and search for WhatsApp.
  2. When the app page gets opened, you’ll see a title reflecting in it says “WhatsApp Messenger (Beta)” with a line “You’re beta tester for this app. Awesome!”
  3. After that within few hours you’ll receive an update that’ll take you to the beta version.

  2. Scroll down to app description,images and similar app section till you locate the “Become a beta tester”.

Steps to leave WhatsApp beta version for Android :

Via a Web browser:

  • Open any of available browser-Chrome, Firefox or Opera.
  • Go to Google Play website and head towards WhatsApp beta test page.
  • Now it’ll ask you to login with your gmail account. Now login to your google account that you use on your android device.
  • You’ll see a the section called “Leave the testing program”. If this section is not there,it means you are not the part of beta testing program.
  • Under this section tap on “Leave the program”
  • Now you’ll be directed to next page which shows “You left the test”
  • Now uninstall the beta version and reinstall the genral version of WhasApp.

Via Google Play Store:

  1. Go to Google Play Store and search for WhatsApp.
  2. After opening the app page , you’ll see the title “WhatsApp Messenger (Beta)” with a line “You’re a beta tester for this app. Awesome!”
  3. Scroll down to app description,images and similar app section till you locate the “You’re a beta tester”panel.
  4. Tap button that says “Leave” tap. Now it’ll ask you to confirm , tap on “Leave” again
  5. Now uninstall the beta version and reinstall the genral version of WhasApp.
